What is weight loss program?

Weight loss seems to be the focus, not eating right food.

Its quite natural for humans, especially women to get influenced by seeing celebrities who are slim, look healthy and active. Most women like to dress up in new fashion, trendy clothes and there is this natural urge to keep the body in shape and fit.

But, If you’re like most people, when a certain big event is approaching, you’re probably desperate to lose weight quickly and get in the best shape of your life fast. This approach often backfires…

Crash diets and rapid weight loss ideas don’t work in the long run. They promise miraculous, super-quick results without side effects. But that’s just an exaggeration; you’re smart––you know it can’t be true.

I have seen many women eat very less, practically nothing at all, to remain slim. Is this sustainable? When the body does not get ample nutrition and on time, it slowly gives way to many problems.

Like everything else, the focus on weight loss should not be on the shape of the body, rather it should be on getting the right nutrition. This focus keeps the mind disciplined and enables the body to lose weight, rather easily with negligible side effects. To compare with a simple example, most students study for the sake of getting a good job rather than studying for the sake of gaining knowledge!

When we are focused only on the outcome of the activity, the efforts will be too much and too tiring, but when we shift the focus to self-improvement and doing the right things, the outcome will be taken care of, automatically.

So rather than gathering knowledge and being obsessed about weight loss, try to shift your focus to gathering knowledge on healthy, balanced and good diet. Additionally to discipline the mind, one should do those tasks like pranayama, healthy exercises, Yoga postures (asanas) etc. This will also promote weight loss.
